The infinite is a constant theme throughout my work; it is always present in the cracks in the walls, our reflection in the water and the spaces in our body.
Growing up with a single mother that suffered with mental illness was very challenging. I could always see behind her pain was something immensely beautiful and expansive.
It can be hard to connect with the transcendent when we are so invested in the day-to-day, and the stories we tell about ourselves.
I have always been aware of the deeper, transcendent experience that is beneath the sometimes benign and mundane experience of life.
It has been challenging to start creating films for my music but is so right for me. I have realised who I am is reflected in everything I do and walking around Bristol looking for moments to capture with my camera makes me more receptive to how incredibly beautiful life is.
